You will be asked about the
password every time you start the program to prevent unauthorized people
from accessing your locked Favorites, History, Typed URLs, Personal
information and Passwords you leave on the Internet.
You will be asked also about the password when you want to uninstall the
program to prevent unauthorized people from uninstalling the program and
deleting your locked information.
Important:
If you forget your password, you won't be able to start the program or uninstall
it.
Password Options:
- Ask me about
password every time the tray icon is accessed (recommended)
If you leave your PC running and the Privacy Guard
was minimized in the tray, then every one can access the program unlocking
all your locked information or changing the program password so you can't use
the program any more as you don't know the new password and you'll lose
your locked information.
To prevent others from accessing the program, we
need to ask them for the password when they double click on the tray icon
to show the program window or when they right click on the tray icon to
access the program tray menu.

password (not recommended).
